Mission & Vision
The Federal Chancellery aims for a lawful, transparent, and democratically accountable financing of political parties. The goal is to strengthen political decision-making in Austria by ensuring that the financial support of political parties and their educational institutions is comprehensible, fair, and in accordance with international standards.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at political parties registered in Austria and their academic institutions (party academies), which submit applications for financial resources in accordance with legal provisions. Compliance with transparency and accountability obligations in accordance with the requirements of party law and the GRECO recommendations is a prerequisite.
