About the funder

For over 25 years, the Busch Foundation "Senior Assistance" has provided practical support for people with dementia and their relatives. Under the motto "Life support in a familiar environment," the foundation develops a wide range of free assistance services – from activity and discussion groups to housewives' afternoons, as well as lectures and training sessions. The goal is to preserve the existing abilities of the seniors, strengthen their independence, and enable them to remain in their accustomed living environment. Volunteer helpers accompany the services, and financial resources come from donations and funding.

Mission & Vision

The Busch Foundation "Senior Assistance" is committed to providing comprehensive support to people with early or advanced dementia and their families. Through counseling, care, and a diverse range of social activities, we aim to prevent isolation, strengthen self-confidence, and ensure a high quality of life in the familiar home environment. We believe in the dignity of every individual and promote participation in social life.

Target groups

The services of the Busch Foundation are aimed at seniors with mild to advanced dementia as well as their caregiving relatives. We address those affected who wish to maintain social contacts, and their families who seek relief and exchange. Our support measures promote motor and cognitive skills, facilitate everyday life, and provide relatives with space for relaxation and understanding.
