Caritas-Gemeinschaftsstiftung für das Bistum Aachen
About the funder
The Caritas Community Foundation for the Diocese of Aachen was established in 2006 by the Caritas Association for the Diocese of Aachen and is recognized as a church-affiliated, legally capable foundation under private law. It provides both ideological and material support to the work of Caritas in the Diocese of Aachen, particularly where public and church funds are insufficient or limited. Under the umbrella of the Community Foundation, private individuals, institutions, and associations can establish foundation funds or trust foundations to pursue their own social-charitable purposes. Currently, it manages several foundation funds that promote projects in the areas of opening up perspectives, strengthening families, addressing needs, and honoring old age.
