About the funder
The Caritas-Gemeinschaftsstiftung Krefeld is a legally capable, non-profit, and ecclesiastical foundation of the Caritas Association for the Krefeld region registered association. It was recognized by the Düsseldorf District Government on April 2, 2004, and approved by the Episcopal General Vicariate of Aachen. The foundation is subject to foundation supervision and aims to sustainably promote welfare services in Krefeld and Meerbusch. It collects endowments and donations, preserves the foundation’s assets permanently, and exclusively distributes the proceeds for projects and institutions. The foundation provides support where public and church funds decline or are insufficient and also promotes the establishment and management of dependent foundations and foundation funds.

Mission & Vision
"Seeing need and taking action" – in accordance with the charitable mission of the Catholic Church, the Caritas Community Foundation Krefeld is committed to securing concrete support for needy and vulnerable people in the Krefeld/Meerbusch region. Through long-term capital income and targeted project funding, the foundation aims to contribute to the preservation and further development of social, cultural, and charitable services in the future.
