CaritasStiftung für das Erzbistum Paderborn

The Caritas Foundation for the Archdiocese of Paderborn was established in 2004 by the Caritas Association for the Archdiocese of Paderborn e.V. and is a legally recognized ecclesiastical foundation under civil law. It provides financial resources to support the Caritas Association, its branches, professional associations, and corporate members within the Archdiocese of Paderborn in fulfilling charitable tasks. Its areas of funding include, among others, health and elderly care, child, youth, and family assistance, as well as aid for people with disabilities, the mentally ill, refugees, and migrants. The foundation exclusively pursues charitable, benevolent, and ecclesiastical purposes and operates selflessly.

Our mission is to make charity tangible through concrete support of charitable projects in the Archdiocese of Paderborn. We aim to help people in need quickly and without bureaucracy, combat poverty, strengthen families, promote integration, and reinforce social cohesion in our society.

The target group of the CaritasStiftung is the Caritas Association for the Archdiocese of Paderborn e.V. as well as its local Caritas associations, specialist associations, and charitable legal entities. Supported are institutions and initiatives that implement social and charitable projects in the fields of health and elderly care, child, youth and family support, disability assistance, refugee work, and mental health within the Archdiocese of Paderborn.
