Carl Büchsel Stiftung
About the funder
The Carl Büchsel Foundation of Uckermärkische Church Congregations Schönfeld was established in 2005/2006 by eleven church congregations in the Schönfeld parish district and is recognized as a non-profit organization. Its goal is to promote and ensure the long-term sustainability of church life on site in 17 villages of the Uckermark region. To this end, it supports the restoration and preservation of listed village churches, the furnishing and use of community and parsonage houses (including the birthplace of Carl Büchsel), as well as projects in the areas of children and youth work, pastoral care, music, and leisure activities. The foundation is financed through endowments, donations, and the income from its foundation capital.
