About the funder

The Charlotte Walner v. Deuten Foundation is a legally recognized foundation under civil law, based in Hamburg-Wandsbek. Since its establishment in 1990, it has archived, managed, and presented the life's work of the Wandsbek painter Felix Walner. The diverse oeuvre encompassing various techniques – from oil painting and tempera to the specially developed Cera Trementina – forms the basis for rotating exhibitions and a permanent exhibition in the premises at Neumarkt 30 in the Malmöhaus. The foundation makes artworks accessible up close and promotes public interest in regional art history.
