About the funder
The Childaid Network Foundation is a non-profit civil law foundation based in Königstein im Taunus. It was founded in 2007 by Dr. Brigitta Cladders and Dr. Martin Kasper. The foundation supports self-help projects for disadvantaged children and youth in South and Southeast Asia, particularly in Northeast India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. Well-known programs include school programs, vocational training, child protection and participation, and health promotion. The foundation holds the DZI Donation Seal and is a member of VENRO as well as the Association of German Foundations.

Mission & Vision
Together for the right to education. Childaid Network enables children to access quality education, thereby opening a path to a better future. Education is regarded as the key to sustainable development and overcoming poverty.
Target groups
Disadvantaged children and young people in the poorest and most remote regions of South and Southeast Asia, particularly in Northeast India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. Support is provided to children without access to education, unemployed young women and men, as well as population groups affected by child labor, human trafficking, and child marriage.
