Mission & Vision

Guided by the biblical words "Give them something to eat!" (Matt. 14:16) and "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me" (Matt. 25:40), the mission of the Christiana Foundation is to alleviate hunger, relieve illness, and help people in greatest need. Through Christian charity and cooperative partnerships with aid organizations, it aims to improve the lives of people suffering hardship worldwide.

Target groups

The Christiana Foundation primarily directs its funding to recognized aid organizations and mission agencies engaged in project work in crisis and developing countries. The target groups of these projects are starving, sick, and displaced people – especially children, families, the elderly, the ill, persons with disabilities, and persecuted Christian minorities. The foundation supports projects for medical care, food security, educational promotion, and the reconstruction of destroyed infrastructure.
