About the funder
The CJD Children and Youth Foundation is a legally recognized civil law foundation under the umbrella of the Christian Youth Village Foundation of Germany (CJD). It consolidates the philanthropic commitment of private individuals and companies into over 30 foundation funds and supports long-term projects that provide disadvantaged children and young people – with and without disabilities – with educational opportunities, school and vocational training, as well as social participation. The foundation exclusively uses the income from its assets to finance sustainable assistance and individual support measures at CJD locations nationwide.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to open up genuine opportunities for young people regardless of their background, social status, or any possible disability. With the capital from our foundation funds, we create lasting and reliable support for educational, integration, and recreational programs. We believe in the power of community and that individual support and lived inclusion are the keys to a fairer and more solidaristic society.
Target groups
The funding programs of the CJD Children and Youth Foundation are aimed at children and young people, particularly those who require special support due to social disadvantage, family burdens, or a disability. Our foundation funds are open to donors who wish to support and accompany projects in the fields of academic and vocational education, personal development, inclusion, as well as leisure and experiential education on a medium- to long-term basis.
