About the funder

The Claus Enneker Foundation is a legal entity and a non-profit foundation under civil law, based in Gmund am Tegernsee. It was founded in 2006 by the Munich surgeon Dr. med. Claus Enneker and has since supported science and research, public healthcare, as well as education in the fields of acute and emergency medicine and clinical trauma medicine. The foundation fulfills its purpose through its own operational activities, financial innovation grants, the awarding of scientific prizes, and the organization of seminars, workshops, and conferences.

Mission & Vision

"Develop ideas | Set impulses | Shape the future" – The Claus Enneker Foundation is committed to sustainably improving care in the field of preclinical emergency medicine and clinical trauma medicine. It supports innovative research projects, technological advancement, and the training of young scientists to provide practice-relevant impulses for politics and medicine based on evidence-based findings.

Target groups

Funding programs and events of the foundation are aimed at physicians, scientists, emergency medical services and air rescue organizations, as well as medical institutions involved in acute medical and trauma research and practice. In particular, tax-privileged corporations, public institutions, and non-profit associations engaged in the advancement of health services research, new therapeutic strategies, and technological procedures in emergency and trauma care are addressed.
