About the funder
ClimaClic gGmbH is the non-profit organizer of Germany’s first climate lottery, based in Offenburg, Baden-Württemberg. Through the sale of Clima tickets, 30% of the stakes are invested in climate protection projects of non-profit organizations. Customers themselves decide which projects in the categories Nature & Landscape, Environment & Resources, and Education & Research are supported. ClimaClic regularly provides updates on the progress of the funded initiatives and supports partners with an exclusive online presence as well as a growing network.

Mission & Vision
The work of ClimaClic gGmbH is driven by the idea of motivating people and enabling them to actively protect the climate and thus counteract the climate crisis. We see ourselves as a reliable partner for the common good and aim to contribute to climate neutrality in Europe through our efforts. In doing so, we regularly review our funding priorities to respond to current social and environmental developments.
Target groups
ClimaClic is aimed at non-profit organizations based in Germany – in particular associations, foundations, non-profit limited liability companies (gGmbHs), entrepreneurial companies with limited liability (gUGs), churches, cooperatives, public law corporations, and tax-exempt institutions – that implement innovative climate protection projects in the areas of nature & landscape, environment & resources, or education & research. The goal is to support modern, environmentally conscious actors who want to actively shape the future.
