The Conrad Foundation e. V. is a legally recognized foundation under civil law, administered by the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce since 1876. It promotes the commercial education and training of young people in Berlin and supports merchants and their families who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own. By networking entrepreneurs, educational foundations, and associations, it creates transparency regarding funding opportunities and opens up prospects for a sustainable professional future.

Mission & Vision
A thriving city and committed entrepreneurship require skilled professionals. The Conrad Foundation is therefore dedicated to the education of young people in Berlin by connecting companies, foundations, and associations to create transparent support programs. The goal is to impart sustainable entrepreneurship to youth and to assist merchants who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at trainees in IHK professions as well as young people transitioning from school to work in Berlin. In addition, the foundation supports merchants who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own and their surviving dependents. Financial assistance, special projects accompanying vocational training, as well as further education and training for trainees in commercial professions are supported.
