Mission & Vision
The Cura Placida Foundation is committed to developing and promoting respectful and highly effective cancer therapies for children. Our goal is to establish new, well-tolerated treatment methods through targeted research and international collaboration that minimize the side effects of conventional therapies and improve the long-term prospects of young patients.
Target groups
International and German research projects and networks that develop innovative, targeted therapies against childhood cancer are funded. The foundation is aimed at scientists, research institutions, and clinics working interdisciplinarily on precise, molecular treatment approaches, as well as at children with cancer and their families, who are to benefit from gentler therapy options.
