About the funder
The DATEV-Stiftung Zukunft is a non-profit private foundation based in Nuremberg. It was established by DATEV eG with the aim of shaping the digital transformation in a human-centered manner. As an operational funding provider, the foundation supports projects in the three core areas of "Promoting Digitalization," "Building Networks," and "Shaping the Future." In doing so, it focuses on topics such as data protection, IT security, education and training in information technologies, as well as the networking of education, science, culture, administration, and business.

Mission & Vision
The DATEV Foundation for the Future sets a long-term example for future generations by equipping people to meet digital challenges. It promotes knowledge transfer and awareness in the fields of data protection and IT security, supports education and training in information technologies, and strengthens the exchange between government, culture, science, and business. Together with partners, it develops sustainable courses of action and drives innovations in IT, data protection, finance, tax, legal, and cooperative sectors.
Target groups
The funding programs of the DATEV-Stiftung Zukunft are aimed at individuals, researchers (e.g., doctoral candidates), non-profit organizations, educational institutions, as well as companies and administrative bodies. Innovative projects are supported that address job profiles and requirements in the digitalized working world, IT security and data protection, digital networking, cooperation, and e-government, and develop solutions for the digital transformation.
