Mission & Vision
"As much independence as possible, as much help as necessary" forms the principle of all services offered by the Diakonissenanstalt EMMAUS. Our mission is to value people in their individual wholeness of body, soul, and spirit, to support and care for them so that they can live and die with dignity. We create spaces for community and meaning, promote autonomy, and ensure that no one is left alone at the end of life.
Target groups
EMMAUS is aimed at seniors with care needs or requiring assisted living; families and single parents with children in nursery and kindergarten age; people at the end of their life who need outpatient or inpatient hospice care; as well as volunteers and professionals who wish to engage in or receive training in nursing, palliative care, or volunteer services.
