Die Braunschweigische Stiftung

The Braunschweigische Stiftung is a legally recognized foundation under civil law, headquartered in the House of the Braunschweigische Stiftungen in Braunschweig. As a regional foundation, it supports projects in the statutory purposes of art and culture, science, research and knowledge transfer, education and upbringing, as well as sports. It promotes civic engagement and advises and connects complementary partners. The foundation operates exclusively in the Braunschweig region and develops its identity with a future-oriented approach.

The Braunschweigische Stiftung operates in a spirit of partnership, cooperation, and sustainability. It is committed to the effectiveness of the funded projects, promotes gender equality and diversity, and works in a resource-efficient and environmentally conscious manner. It consistently rejects discrimination in any form. Under the guiding principle "Together. Effective. Responsible." it shapes a livable and resilient Braunschweig region.

Funding requests can be submitted by natural and legal persons whose residence or business location is in the Braunschweig region or whose projects are implemented there. Target groups include artists, cultural workers and visual artists, independent theater groups, musicians and emerging musical talent, sports clubs and initiatives, scientific and research institutions, educational providers, as well as organizations and individuals demonstrating civic engagement for the region.
