Mission & Vision

Our mission in Department 34 "RWP" is to sustainably strengthen the economic structure in NRW through targeted financial assistance: We support municipalities, public institutions, and companies in creating and securing jobs, promote innovative location infrastructures, and accompany structural adjustment processes to improve the competitiveness of the regions.

Target groups

Eligible to apply are municipalities and municipal associations, legal entities under public and private law with tax-privileged or public-benefit purposes, natural and legal persons without profit motives, as well as (technical) universities depending on the project content. In exceptional cases, cooperations of companies or associations are supported. Furthermore, small and medium-sized enterprises in the manufacturing sector as well as selected service industries (including the tourism sector) are supported if they implement job-creating investments or non-investive measures to strengthen their competitiveness.
