Mission & Vision

Our mission is to combat drowning deaths in the Heidekreis region and beyond. We promote prevention, training, and the deployment of volunteer water rescuers and strengthen the future viability of the DLRG local groups in the former Fallingbostel district through sustainable asset development.

Target groups

The funding is aimed at the DLRG local groups and divisions within the DLRG district of Lüneburger Heide, particularly the local groups Fallingbostel and Walsrode. Indirectly, all people in the Heidekreis benefit, as they are protected from drowning accidents through improved rescue and training structures.
