About the funder

The Dr. Andreas Göller Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to the promotion of sports and rescue from life-threatening situations. For over 30 years, it has been voluntarily committed to grassroots sports, socio-sportive youth work, as well as emergency rescue and accident assistance. In addition to supporting local institutions, the foundation backs numerous supraregional projects, including mountain rescue, the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS), and volunteer fire brigades. Its own founding projects include, among others, the Sports and Games Association Ronsdorf e. V. (1993) with a DSV ski school, as well as the Emergency Rescue and Accident Assistance Association MARER 112 e. V. (2000) with three local chapters.
