About the funder
The Dr. Hans Hoch Foundation is a legally recognized foundation under civil law based in Neumünster. It was established in 1983 from the legacy of the former businessman Dr. Hans Hoch († 1981). Administration and foundation supervision are the responsibility of the city of Neumünster as well as the Ministry of the Interior, Rural Areas, Integration and Equality of the state of Schleswig-Holstein. The foundation owns real estate assets (residential and commercial building, parking areas), the proceeds of which are used for charitable purposes.

Mission & Vision
The Dr. Hans Hoch Foundation aims to support economically disadvantaged individuals in Neumünster and the surrounding area, particularly in institutions for elderly care and welfare services, and to provide financial support to young, talented artists. The foundation funds grants and scholarships for social causes and cultural projects to enable sustainable social participation and artistic development.
Target groups
Only individuals and projects related to the city of Neumünster are supported. In the social sector, assistance is directed towards economically disadvantaged individuals, children, and adolescents (e.g., leisure and recreational activities, class trips) as well as clubs, associations, and self-help groups. In the cultural sector, young, talented artists (music, painting, dance, etc.) as well as cultural institutions and projects (exhibitions, competitions, artist residences) are funded.
