Mission & Vision

Our ecological system is the most valuable asset we "own." Every intervention in nature has consequences for the ecological balance and its inhabitants. Preserving and protecting this balance for future generations as effectively as possible is the primary goal of our actions. The Dr. Scheller Foundation promotes the protection and maintenance of natural structures in the Braunschweig region, supports paleontological research sites as well as educational and networking projects to make ecological and geological diversity tangible.

Target groups

The funding opportunities are aimed at institutions and initiatives in the Braunschweig region that focus on nature and environmental protection, biotope maintenance, renaturation, and fossil research. This includes museums, networks of geoparks, schools and extracurricular learning centers, municipal authorities, and non-profit organizations that implement educational and environmental projects for children, youth, and the general public.
