The Elsbeth Bonhoff Foundation is an independent non-profit foundation under civil law dedicated to promoting osteoporosis research in Germany. Its purpose is to support science and research in Germany as well as the development of new prevention and treatment methods in the field of osteoporosis and related diseases—independently of the interests of the pharmaceutical industry.

Mission & Vision

Our goal is to support innovative research projects on osteoporosis and related diseases in order to develop new prevention and treatment methods. We operate independently and place great value on the highest scientific quality to improve the course of the disease in the long term and to provide sustainable assistance to those affected.

Target groups

The funding programs are aimed at scientists, universities, as well as public and private research institutions in Germany. Research projects in the field of osteoporosis and related diseases are supported, provided they follow a scientifically sound approach and contribute to the development of new prevention or treatment methods.
