About the funder
The ENTEGA Foundation is a non-profit, legally capable foundation under civil law based in Darmstadt, established by ENTEGA AG as the founder. Its primary purpose is to promote charitable civic engagement in the Rhine-Main-Neckar region. It supports projects and events organized by clubs, institutions, and municipalities that enrich local community life and foster a sense of identity. Furthermore, it promotes science and research in environmental and climate protection, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and future-oriented energy technologies. Since its inception, the foundation has supported volunteer work in the region with over nine million euros and awards the "Darmstadt Impulse" every two years for outstanding civic engagement.

Mission & Vision
The ENTEGA Foundation reaffirms its commitment to assume responsibility in the region independently of market developments and to provide impulses close to the people for a livable and sustainable future. Through targeted support of charitable projects and events, it strengthens civic engagement and thus contributes to sustainable development and social cohesion in the region.
Target groups
The target group comprises non-profit recognized entities from the Rhine-Main-Neckar region, such as cities, municipalities and municipal institutions, associations, support associations, research institutions, as well as universities and colleges. Projects are funded in the areas of child, youth and elderly care, arts and culture, sports, education and upbringing, welfare services, as well as environmental and climate protection.
