About the funder
The erfal Foundation is a privately funded corporate foundation of erfal GmbH & Co. KG, based in Falkenstein in the Saxon Vogtland region. Since 2016, it has supported regional non-profit projects and initiatives through donations, sponsorships, and the annually awarded erfal Foundation Prize. The focus areas of funding are children and youth projects, culture, sports, social affairs, as well as environmental and animal protection in the Vogtland district.

Mission & Vision
The erfal Foundation sees itself as an innovative driver for the economic and cultural location of Vogtland and consciously assumes social responsibility for the region. In addition to supporting measures to secure the existence of erfal GmbH & Co. KG, its goal is to provide sustainable impulses to promote children, youth, and non-profit initiatives in the areas of sports, culture, and social affairs.

The foundation awards and donations are available to sports and cultural clubs, social institutions, and individuals with innovative, non-profit initiatives.
