About the funder
The Erste Bürgerstiftung Pforzheim-Enz is an independent, non-profit foundation established in 2007 on the initiative of Volksbank Pforzheim-Enz. It supports and initiates projects that serve the common good in Pforzheim and the Enz district, and oversees trust foundations under its umbrella. The focus is on sustainability, regional identity, and long-term impact – ranging from art and culture to education, sports, and nature conservation, as well as disaster relief and animal protection.

Mission & Vision
Our goal is to make the social environment of Pforzheim/Enz district livable, identity-forming, and sustainable. Together with citizens, we initiate impulses that strengthen community, complement public funds, and promote sustainable change. We provide a framework in which commitment, ideas, and resources are pooled to enrich the region in the long term.
Target groups
The Erste Bürgerstiftung Pforzheim-Enz is aimed at citizens, initiatives, non-profit organizations, as well as donors from the Pforzheim/Enzkreis region. It supports individuals and groups who engage in creative, social, or ecological projects for the common good and seek to achieve lasting impact.
