About the funder
The FBMA Foundation is one of the most renowned foundations in the German hospitality industry. Founded in 1993, the non-profit foundation is dedicated to research, culture, and education in hotel and gastronomy sectors. It initiates and supports projects on current industry topics, healthy nutrition, consumer education, and environmental protection. Since 2007, it has annually awarded the prestigious Brillat-Savarin Plaque for outstanding contributions to hospitality and table culture.
