About the funder

The Finke Foundation is a non-independent trust foundation established in 2008 by Elfriede Finke and administered by the Standortssicherung Kreis Lippe Foundation. Its statutory purpose is the promotion of education, science, and culture in the field of elderly care, primarily in Kalletal and the district of Lippe. It particularly supports training and further education in elderly care, voluntary engagement of older people, as well as cultural and educational events for senior citizens. Additionally, it funds research projects on the living conditions of the elderly and the exchange between science and practice.

Mission & Vision

The Finke Foundation is committed to improving quality of life and satisfaction in old age. Through targeted support of education and training, intergenerational projects, and cultural offerings, it aims to facilitate encounters, strengthen social cohesion, and practically apply scientific findings.

Target groups

The funding programs are aimed at elderly people and caregivers in Kalletal and throughout the Lippe district. Target groups include senior facilities, associations, educational institutions, primary schools, and intergenerational initiatives ("Young meets Old") that carry out projects in the areas of elderly care, cultural participation, or volunteer engagement. Additionally, training and further education measures for those working in elderly care are supported.
