The Project Management Agency Jülich (PtJ) is an institution of Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH and is one of the leading project management and funding agencies in Germany. On behalf of federal and state ministries, federal authorities, and the European Commission, PtJ implements research and innovation funding programs. With approximately 1,600 employees at its locations in Jülich, Berlin, Rostock, and Bonn, PtJ covers a broad spectrum ranging from energy and climate research to sustainable development and the promotion of science and society in North Rhine-Westphalia. As an interdisciplinary team, PtJ ensures the legally compliant and efficient management of funding projects along the entire innovation chain – from concept development through evaluation, approval, and support to the exploitation of results. PtJ is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001 and integrates national and European funding instruments to strengthen the competitiveness of Germany as a research and innovation location.
