The Franz Grothe Foundation was established in 1960 in Bad Wiessee by the composer, pianist, and conductor Franz Grothe and is the legal successor to his entire artistic oeuvre. It maintains the Grothe musical archive, makes it available for research, and supports young musicians as well as musical projects through scholarships and project-related assistance. The foundation is also committed to providing charitable aid to composers and artists in acute distress.

Mission & Vision
