Franziskus-Stiftung – Jugendwerk der Franziskaner

The Franziskus-Stiftung – Jugendwerk der Franziskaner is a private, non-profit foundation under church law based in Hürtgenwald-Vossenack. It was established in 1985 by the German Franciscan Province and promotes youth welfare, education, and upbringing in accordance with the Gospel and Saint Francis of Assisi. Its tasks include supporting and maintaining educational, cultural, and youth organizations (e.g., Franziskus-Gymnasium Vossenack, Kloster Kultur Keller), residential and care services for young people, as well as the promotion of events, seminars, and pilgrimages.

The Franziskus Foundation is committed to introducing young people to the Franciscan way of life in our time. It emphasizes the value of the individual, promotes mindful stewardship of creation, and calls for solidarity with those on the margins. The goal is to impart values such as peace, charity, and responsibility to young people and to support them in their personal and social development.

The funding opportunities are aimed at adolescents and young adults, particularly disadvantaged or marginalized youth. They include church-religiously oriented and social projects in the Hürtgenwald region and beyond. Support is provided to individuals, groups, and institutions engaged in Franciscan-inspired youth and educational work.
