Mission & Vision
Work and education are crucial factors for individual participation and social cohesion in North Rhine-Westphalia. G.I.B. is committed to providing demand-oriented and high-quality services in close coordination with the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs. It supports the state government in combating unemployment and poverty, improving access to training and the labor market, and promoting fair, sustainable working conditions. In doing so, it acts independently and accompanies programs from idea development through to evaluation.
Target groups
The offers and funding programs of G.I.B. are aimed at a broad spectrum of labor and social policy stakeholders in NRW: employees, municipal officials responsible for poverty reduction and social planning, job centers and employment agencies, chambers and associations, professional audiences and academia, small and medium-sized enterprises, project sponsors, municipal coordination offices (e.g., KAoA), as well as regional agencies. In addition, specific groups such as young people transitioning into vocational training, single parents, and people with disabilities receive targeted support.
