Mission & Vision

The foundation aims to encourage and empower congregations within the Protestant Church of Hesse and Nassau to develop creative and sustainable forms of church life. It supports processes in which congregations clarify their spiritual foundations ("roots"), develop strategies ("trunk"), strengthen their staff ("branches"), and implement concrete projects ("fruits"). The goal is to establish new forms of worship, diaconal, and missionary initiatives that authentically convey faith and reach people in their everyday lives.

Target groups

Supported are parishes, neighborhood areas, deaneries, and supra-parish initiatives of the Protestant Church in Hesse and Nassau (EKHN). The programs are aimed at church organizations that wish to implement innovative projects for spiritual development and community building.
