Gemeinnützige Stiftung "EIN HERZ LACHT"

EIN HERZ LACHT is a charitable foundation under private law, established in 2012 and based in Troisdorf. It was founded by entrepreneur Kamil Sarisen, who transferred significant shares of his nursing care company to the foundation. Today, EIN HERZ LACHT supports children, adolescents, and families in the Cologne/Bonn region through projects in areas such as social participation, education, culture, and health promotion. In addition to direct project funding, entrepreneurial investments – for example in aks Aktuelle Krankenpflege Systeme GmbH and Gut Alte Heide gGmbH – are part of the foundation’s concept.

Our mission is to empower young people and families in their personal development, promote equal opportunities, and enable experiences of community. We support innovative projects and organizations that create sustainable prospects and provide children and adolescents with guidance in their life environment.

Non-profit associations, initiatives, and organizations committed to children, youth, and families in the greater Cologne/Bonn area are supported. Our funding primarily targets projects in the fields of prevention, education, career orientation, culture, as well as social and inclusive services that benefit disadvantaged or socially excluded young people.
