Mission & Vision
The Gemeinschaftsstiftung Diakonie is committed to fostering a solidarity-based, intergenerational community. Our goal is to support social initiatives in Cologne, the Rhein-Erft district, and the Rheinisch-Bergisch district that assist people in need, enable integration and participation, and accompany life in old age. We believe in the power of Christian charity and exclusively promote projects that pursue charitable and benevolent purposes.
Target groups
Non-profit organizations and initiatives based in the area of the Evangelical Church Association of Cologne and Region (Cologne, Rhein-Erft district, Rheinisch-Bergischer district) are supported. Target groups include particularly disadvantaged and unemployed youth, people without employment, elderly individuals in residential and meeting projects, social groups requiring integration (disabled persons, homeless), as well as social-diaconal institutions and evangelical initiatives that promote peaceful coexistence.
