About the funder
The Gerhard Grill – Frisch Auf Youth Foundation is a legally recognized civil law foundation based in Göppingen. It was established in 2002 by European Champion Gerhard Grill and has since promoted community experiences for children and young people of TPSG Frisch Auf Göppingen. Each year, the foundation supports nearly 1,000 young club members through youth trips, training and camping camps, training courses for youth leaders, sports and community festivals, as well as trial memberships for socially disadvantaged children. All funds come from the foundation’s assets, additional endowments, donations, and income, and 100% of these are used without deductions for the supported projects.

Mission & Vision
Through targeted community experiences centered around club sports, the Gerhard Grill – Frisch Auf Youth Foundation strengthens the cohesion and social skills of youth club members. Its goal is to provide young athletes with unforgettable experiences that shape them physically, morally, and socially—fully in the spirit of founder Gerhard Grill, who himself gained valuable experiences in his youth at Frisch Auf and wishes to pass them on.
Target groups
The foundation supports children and adolescents from all departments of TPSG Frisch Auf Göppingen aged approximately 3 to 18 years. The focus is on young athletes who, through financial support for leisure activities, trips, celebrations, and trial memberships, can gain social and community experiences beyond the regular training schedule.
