About the funder
The GesundheitsAkademie e.V. is a non-profit association of individuals, initiatives, and institutions in the health sector. It supports health-promoting competencies, independent patient information and counseling, solidarity-based and equitable health policy, as well as a socio-ecological health movement. Through publications, seminars, online formats, and events such as the "Week of Healthy Development (WogE)", regular meetings, and cooperative training series, knowledge transfer and discussion are purposefully promoted.

Mission & Vision
The GesundheitsAkademie e.V. promotes a health-oriented society in which citizens, healthcare professionals, and political decision-makers jointly advocate for equal opportunities, sustainability, and solidarity. Its goal is to strengthen the health literacy of all population groups and positively influence societal conditions through interdisciplinary networking and evidence-based interventions.

The offerings of GesundheitsAkademie e.V. are aimed at professionals and executives from healthcare, social, and environmental sectors, patients, citizens, and civil society initiatives, students and trainees in health professions, municipalities, schools and organizations within the setting approach, as well as networks and associations interested in socio-ecological health promotion.
