About the funder
The Graf von Zinzendorf-Pottek Foundation is an independent, non-profit, and legally capable foundation under civil law, based in Barum (Am See 28). It was established with initial capital of 25,000 euros and exclusively pursues charitable, benevolent, and ecclesiastical purposes. The core mission of the foundation is the promotion of Protestant schools and Protestant denominational schools (special, primary, secondary, intermediate, and grammar schools) as well as church and free church children’s and youth work of Protestant denomination – especially in the Lüneburg area and surroundings.

Mission & Vision
The Graf von Zinzendorf-Pottek Foundation is committed to sustainably strengthening Christian-oriented learning and living communities in schools and youth work. It supports projects that make faith in Jesus Christ tangible, convey tolerance and responsible action, and promote ecumenical cooperation among various Protestant denominations.
Target groups
Eligible for funding are Protestant and free church organizations as well as institutions for child and youth work and schools of Protestant confession in the Lüneburg region and surrounding areas. Both individuals and groups, as well as educational institutions, that implement innovative educational and upbringing projects with a Christian profile are supported.
