About the funder

The Greifen Foundation is a legal foundation under civil law based in Frankfurt am Main and has been providing financial support since 2009 to promote Christian youth work in Pomerania. Its foundation purpose includes the procurement and distribution of funds for the care of the sick and elderly, assistance in cases of accidents and emergencies, promotion of education, upbringing, and youth welfare, as well as support for spiritual work related to the Christian faith. Since its establishment, it has particularly supported projects within the Pomeranian Cooperative of the Order of St. John and church activities in the Protestant youth work sector.

Mission & Vision

The Greifen Foundation is committed to providing young people in Pomerania with opportunities for social, spiritual, and personal development through financial grants and project-based support. It promotes Christian engagement, education, and social skills, thereby contributing to the strengthening of community spirit, openness to the world, and tolerance.

Target groups

The funding programs of the Greifen Foundation are aimed at children, adolescents, volunteer caregivers, and church youth groups within the Pomeranian Evangelical Church District. It particularly supports young people without their own financial resources, multipliers of Christian youth work, youth leader training programs, as well as community-based recreational and retreat activities.
