About the funder
The Günter Krönung Foundation – Faith and Helping is a non-profit family foundation based in Petersberg (Hesse). Since its establishment in 2005, it has supported emergency and disaster relief, international aid transports, as well as educational and youth projects. The foundation works closely with partner organizations such as the Malteser Hilfsdienst and supports individual cases in Bosnia, Romania, northern Iraq, and socially disadvantaged areas in Germany. Mission & Vision
Our mission is to support people in existential distress and to create life prospects. Under the motto "Faith & Help," we combine Christian values with practical assistance on site. We are committed to ensuring that disadvantaged children, families, and communities receive support in the form of humanitarian aid shipments, emergency relief, and educational projects.
Target groups
The Günter Krönung Foundation is aimed at people in disaster regions (e.g., Bosnia after flooding, northern Iraq), disadvantaged children and youth (e.g., in Romania and socially challenged areas in Hesse), refugees and asylum seekers in Germany, as well as local partner organizations such as the Malteser Hilfsdienst or Franciscan and Syriac Orthodox communities.
