About the funder
The Günther Haenisch Research and Study Foundation of the Association of North German Surgery has existed since December 1995 and is part of the North German Surgeons Association. It supports clinically oriented surgical studies and basic research, awards the Günther Haenisch Research Prize annually as part of the NDCH Summer Meeting, and additionally funds scientific projects as well as travel and internship scholarships. The foundation primarily targets young surgeons and early-career researchers who make innovative contributions to surgical research.

Mission & Vision
