Mission & Vision

The Günther Weber Foundation is committed to providing sustainable support to people in social distress – especially children, adolescents, and families. Through targeted funding measures and project partnerships, it creates opportunities for education, health, and social participation. The founder and the board of trustees believe in the power of civic engagement to strengthen the common good and achieve long-term impact in the supported areas.

Target groups

The funding activities are aimed at socially disadvantaged children and adolescents, families, as well as non-profit organizations and institutions in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and the surrounding region. In addition, projects in the fields of education, training, sports, and animal breeding are supported. Funding is provided to individuals, school classes, self-help groups (e.g., ADHD holiday camps), as well as organizations pursuing innovative approaches in the social, educational, or public welfare sectors.
