About the funder

The H. and H. Kaschade Foundation is a legally recognized civil law foundation based in Stendal. Founded in 1995 by Hermine and Hans-Jürgen Kaschade, it sustainably promotes international orientation, education, and culture in the Altmark region and among its partners. The foundation supports both self-initiated projects and applications from third parties, preferably in cooperation with other organizations. Funding amounts range from €100 to €10,000 per project; in the long term, a few larger, sustainable initiatives are to be prioritized.

Mission & Vision

The mission of the H. und H. Kaschade Stiftung is to promote international relations and intercultural understanding in Stendal, the Altmark region, and beyond. It is committed to the education of young people, the dissemination of German-language literature, and the support of cultural initiatives in order to enrich the region intellectually and culturally.
