Hans-Neuffer-Stiftung
About the funder
The Hans Neuffer Foundation is a legally recognized foundation under civil law, established in 1956 by the German Medical Association and restructured into its current legal form in 1977. It maintains a close connection with the German medical profession and supports projects that complement the health and professional policy work of the German Medical Association and the State Medical Associations. The foundation is named after Prof. Dr. med. Hans Neuffer, who, after World War II, advocated for the reconstruction of the medical professional organization and the international recognition of the medical profession. The foundation funds study trips, international specialist conferences, continuing education congresses, as well as comparative research projects in medicine.
