Hartmut Georg Stiftung

The Hartmut Georg Foundation (HGS) is a non-profit private foundation based in Hamburg. Since its inception, it has supported projects in the areas of assistance for people in need, arts and culture, as well as monument protection and preservation. To this end, the foundation provides financial support both to other non-profit organizations and to its own initiatives and local collaborations. The wide-ranging activities are based on the long-standing funding objectives of the founder, Hartmut Georg, who uses his resources to enable sustainable aid and cultural impulses.

The Hartmut Georg Foundation aims to provide unbureaucratic support to people in difficult life situations, enrich cultural diversity through the promotion of art and emerging artists, and preserve historical monuments.
