About the funder

The Haug-Taxis Foundation was established in the 1980s by the Haug-Taxis couple and is based in Stuttgart-Feuerbach. It originated from the sponsorship tradition of the building materials wholesale company Heinrich Taxis and primarily supports projects in the fields of environmental protection, Christian faith, and nature and animal conservation. Each year, the foundation organizes nature researcher competitions at primary and secondary schools to award school projects from the curriculum of general studies. In addition, it supports other non-profit organizations with similar objectives.
