Mission & Vision

The Heinz & Ilse Bühnen Foundation is committed to introducing children and young people to artistic forms of expression at an early stage and in a practical manner. By supporting innovative projects in the visual arts, the foundation aims to strengthen creativity, cultural participation, and the personal development of young people.

Target groups

Non-profit, registered institutions with art education projects for children and adolescents in Bremen are supported. The target group includes young people who have had little or no access to visual arts so far and are actively introduced to painting, sculpture, and other creative techniques through workshops, holiday programs, museum admissions, and studios.
