About the funder
The Helmholtz-Fonds e.V. is a non-profit association with over 40 members, founded in 1912 at the predecessor organization of today’s Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Berlin-Charlottenburg. It is headquartered c/o PTB in Braunschweig and promotes metrological advancement through financial support, awards, and premiums. Furthermore, it organizes symposia, conferences, and workshops, and awards the internationally renowned Helmholtz Prize for outstanding achievements in metrology.

Mission & Vision
