Henstorf-Stiftung Bissendorf

Private foundation

About the funder

The Henstorf Foundation Bissendorf was established in 1951 by Heinrich and Hedwig Henstorf and finances its work through lease income, donations, and interest earnings from the foundation's capital. Its purpose is to support children and young people in Bissendorf—especially when their families lack the financial means for individual support measures or education. Since its founding, it has supported a variety of institutions and projects, including day care centers, schools, youth fire brigades, children’s and youth art schools, community youth centers, anti-violence and reading projects, as well as individual support for music lessons, club fees, or training measures. The support is location-based, sustainable, and transparent.
