About the funder

The Hermann and Bertl Müller Foundation was established in 1995 by the couple Hermann and Bertl Müller, who were expelled from Asch. Out of gratitude towards their new hometown Hof, the non-profit foundation supports the public good in a variety of ways. In accordance with its statutes, it particularly promotes art and culture, monument preservation, the beautification of the cityscape, animal protection within the city area, as well as the preservation of the cultural heritage of the former district of Asch. Grants are awarded to museums, theaters, symphony orchestras, monument protection projects, playgrounds, and numerous clubs and initiatives in and around Hof.
